Wi-Fi access is offered with pleasure to our guests; in accordance with French law, it comes with a few conditions which we kindly ask you to read before use.
The Wi-Fi network is provided free of charge to guests of Hôtel Plat d'Étain. No guarantee is given as to its continuous availability, speed or service continuity. The hotel reserves the right to interrupt, modify or restrict access at any time, without notice, for technical, security or maintenance reasons.
The user undertakes to comply with applicable French law, including the Law for Trust in the Digital Economy (LCEN) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The following are strictly prohibited:
In accordance with the LCEN Act and Decree No. 2021-1363 of 20 October 2021, technical connection logs are retained for twelve (12) months. This data includes the assigned IP address, the device's MAC address, and session start and end timestamps.
This information is strictly confidential. It may only be communicated to the competent judicial authorities upon formal requisition, within the strict framework provided by law.
The user remains solely responsible for the data they transmit, receive or access via the network. Hôtel Plat d'Étain cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages related to the use of the service, including data loss, breach of confidentiality, or infection by malicious software.
It is strongly recommended to use an up-to-date personal device equipped with antivirus software, and to favour encrypted connections (HTTPS, VPN).
In order to guarantee fair service quality for all our guests, the bandwidth per device is limited to 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. This limitation allows everyone to use the network peacefully, including during periods of high demand.
Each authentication session is valid for twenty-four (24) hours. At the end of this period, new acceptance of these terms will be required to continue using the service.
Hôtel Plat d'Étain is the data controller for the technical logs described in Article 3. This data is not used for commercial purposes, neither sold nor transferred to third parties, except in legally provided cases.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification and erasure of your data. To exercise these rights, contact reception at the address below.
Access to the Wi-Fi network is subject to the express acceptance of these terms via the captive portal displayed at connection. Otherwise, access to the service cannot be authorised.
